WASHINGTON, D.C. and Sydney, Australia — DroneShield announced the sale and deployment of its DroneSentry solution for city-wide coverage of the 2022 IRONMAN Texas held in The Woodlands, Texas.

DroneShield Ltd (ASX:DRO) is pleased to report the combined elements of the Presidential Security Group (PSG) and PHISGOC Games Safety & Security Counter-Drone Team from Safer PH Innovations (DroneShield’s Philippines partner) successfully disabled seven commercial drones during the Opening Ceremony of the 30th Southeast Asian Games.

As has become common at sporting events, an unauthorised drone was flown over the stadium at the end of the game’s third quarter. In the absence of the DroneShield deployment, the drone and its controller would have operated with impunity.
