DroneShield Supports Australian Women in Security Network to help build the next generation

AWSN is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to increasing the representation of women in security by connecting, supporting, and inspiring women and girls across Australia. Through mentoring, events, and national programs, AWSN empowers individuals with the skills, confidence, and networks needed to thrive in the security industry.

DroneShield is proud to announce our support for a collaborative event series with AWSN titled “Signals and Security: Exploring RF Systems and Cyber Threats.” Following an inaugural event held in Canberra on 24 September, DroneShield is supporting follow up events in Adelaide on 22 October and Sydney on 19 November. The session is designed to introduce participants to software-defined radio (SDR), explore real-world RF use cases, and work through practical cybersecurity scenarios.
