Angus Bean is the Chief Product and Technology Officer at DroneShield (ASX:DRO). Since joining in 2016, he has scaled the company’s Technology team to over 250 engineers and specialists, delivering globally deployed counter-uncrewed systems (C-UxS). He leads DroneShield’s Technology and AI strategy, driving the integration of mechanical systems, electronics, software, and digital interfaces into mission-focused solutions.

Recognised as a finalist for Defence Connect’s Defence Executive of the Year (2024) and Defence Engineer of the Year (2019), Angus is a technology leader shaping the future of AI-driven defence innovation worldwide.
