DroneShield Strengthens Commitment to Sovereign Defence Capability Through Support for Australian Industry & Defence Network


29 August 2025 Sydney, Australia DroneShield, a world-leading Australian developer of AI-powered counter-drone and electronic warfare solutions, is proud to announce its continued support for Australia’s sovereign defence industry through its membership in the Australian Industry & Defence Network (AIDN).

AIDN is Australia’s peak industry body representing the defence industry sector. It plays a vital role in advocating for sovereign capability, fostering industry connections, and enabling Australian businesses to succeed both domestically and internationally.

Like most Australian defence companies, DroneShield’s journey began as a small Australian technology company and has grown significantly in recent years, fuelled by its export success to militaries and law enforcement agencies in the United States, Europe and the Asia Pacific. This growth reflects the increasing global demand for sovereign, mission-ready counter-drone solutions and DroneShield’s commitment to delivering them from Australian soil.
