DroneShield Drone Pilot Wins Australian ProSpec Drone Race

9 January 2026 – DroneShield, a global leader in counter-drone technology, today announced that DroneShield drone pilot, Youhanna Wahba, secured first place at the 2026 MultiGP Australian ProSpec Wildcard Race held recently. Following an intensely competitive final, Mr Wahba’s victory earns him a coveted position among the top 24 ProSpec drone pilots worldwide, qualifying for the MultiGP ProSpec Championship in 2026.

This achievement complements DroneShield’s ongoing support for the Australian Defence Force (ADF) Drone Racing Team, which focuses on sharing expertise and fostering innovation in drone operations, to promote skills development and knowledge exchange.

Reflecting on the win, Youhanna said: “I’m thrilled to have achieved this result. Qualifying was incredibly close: the top three were separated by just three-tenths over two laps, so we knew the final would be tight. Taking P1 is a huge achievement for me and for DroneShield.”
